We spent a lot of time just relaxing looking at the water.

The water was perfect!

After trying to rake all the seaweed off the beach it is nice to kickback with a big ice cream cone

Amari had a great time with his vacation nanny Antoinette. And I had a great vacation because she helped so much with Amari.

Amari's "hiding" place when he decided he did not need a nap.

Some days Amari was having so much fun it was hard to go inside and take a nap. One day he decided he did not need a nap so he marched away from Lornie and I up to the hot tub deck. When I walked over to get him he said, "No Mama! Go away! I am relaxing here!"

We were lucky enough to have lovely visit with the Spade family and the fabulous Faith before leaving for Jamaica.

We went to Tahoe with Lornie for a surgical conference so Amari could play in the snow

Since we were not used to spending long hours out in the snow we were lucky to have a big lobby for Amari to play in.

The lobby came complete with a campfire video on four flat screen t.v.s. and a fake redwood tree.
