Studying the mysteries of the helium balloon

Now that Amari is spending more time holding things he has been playing with this helium balloon one of the nurses at the hospital gave us. If I give him the string he hold onto it and moves his arm around and the balloon moves, which is very exciting and fascinating if you are 3.5 months old.

I was trying to take a photo of Amari's new found skill of making noise when blowing bubbles but what this actually shows is Amari's improved hand control and ability to bring his hand to his mouth without punching himself in the face.

Feeling invigorated after a nap and a bath.

Amari has a sock on his right hand because recently this hand is frequently possessed to pull his hair and scratch his head. Hopefully Amari will start to be able to control his hands soon and we wont have so many wild hand attacks.

Jeni and Journey came to visit on Saturday and gave us some CDs with Jeni music for the family to listen to together.
