Waiting for the little train.

The cutest little train in town.

I think these two would be happy watching the train go by all day.

oh how he loves to be covered in sand and splashing in the water.

When visiting the zoo it is easiest to get photos of Amari with sculptures of animal rather than living animals.

It might be easier to get a photo of Amari with the goats than most of the other animals at the zoo but that does not mean I can get the goats and Amari to face the same direction.

"Big Pig!" Amari is all about categorizing things as big or little these days so he was excited about the big blue cut out of the pig at the zoo.

NH August 17th back to July 27th

Portrait by Heatherjean.

The annual photos in front of sunflowers. Amari looked just as serious last year.

Visittng with aunt Lynnise and uncle Khemenec and driving tractors made for a happy child.

End of summer good-bye hugs for Mart and Kyle.

Looking like a boxer after going a few rounds with a misquito did not stop Amari from having fun learning to swim with Pepe

I am very fond of photos in front of the farm house door.

Being cool with Sarah Galine

Sankofa week was full of drums and dancing. Amari was thrilled!

This year the show included a capoeira interlude.

Greta was a graceful mother owl in the play.

Journey had everyone clapping along during his solo.

Amari was delirious by the end of the show

Asher joined in for an encore of Funga

A majority of this year's Sankofa crew

Pizza night fun.

Happy times during capoeira class

There were brief moments of toddler teamwork when Cedar and Amari were building.

Circle time with Meme and visits with Ernie were two highlights of visits to Orchard School.

Amari and Asher loved playing peek-a-boo in the tall grass.

Part of the fun of being on the farm is watching the chicks and ducks grow up.

Driving the tractor is so much fun.

On of the many adjustments Jake needed to make while living on the farm was finding toddlers in the sink when trying to get water for tea.

Going for a ride.

Rowing the dreamy boat of life with uncle Noah and cousin Asher.

Asher likes to play with the jack-in-the-box and play he is a jack-in-the-box.

Spending time with Greta can be dreamy.

Pool time with Asher. Look who likes to pur water on his head (and on Asher's head if given a chance).
