Amari's enjoyment of books has reached a whole new level.

Amari is finding new books he likes every day and wants them read many times. He has names for his favorite ones and is starting to pick up more words. He has a pretty extensive B word vocabulary:Bubble, ball, book,bird, baloon, blueberry, bye-bye, blocks, and bowl. He also says mama, dada, (more often he still calls Lornie momo), hi, "peekboo", "diddy" (kitty), dog, moo (for cow) baa (for sheep), geese, duck, more, down, shoes, socks, moon (moom)go (dough) spoon (poon) drum (dum) and what's that? He has said animals, water, trash, and green but has not started using these words independently.

When we got to NH it was still cold enough for snow suits and cousin Asher got to show Amari his first snowdrift.

We visited with Rania Katrina Riley and Kale in Northampton. It was warm enough for Amari and Kale to take off their shirts and enjoy the sand.

We had a lovely visit with Great Uncle Johan and Great Aunt Beatriz. They brought Amari a special treat and he got to try chocolate for the first time (he loved it).
