This weekend Amari went beyond social smiling and did his first flirting. We were at a party on Sunday and there was a lovely 9 month old girl who was staring at Amari. Amari looked over and saw her and his face lit up and he started smiling and cooing at her. It was very cute!

Amari loves to bounce on the exercise ball. He will often look up with this expression of curious wonder when I start to bounce.

practicing presidential poses
Not that I would wish the job of president on my child, but this photo just made me think that Amari might have noticed the images of Obama we have been seeing. I think Amari has embodied the thoughtful heroic look we are seeking in a president.
